Updated review 11/2025: we also had Handyman Heroes replace our broken EV charger. Damon did an excellent job and we have upgraded from 37mph (240V 40A) to 45mph (240V 48A) charging and are happy.We have employed Handyman Heroes for both their handyman services and plumbing services. Each time, it has been a very pleasant experience with accurate quotes, and I'm talking to within $10 of the quoted approved estimate amount, which is very impressive.Samuel helped us in Aug 2024 perform exterior stucco patching and painting. His work was excellent and he even textured the stucco patches to match the surrounding texture, which shows the detail of his craft.This year in Sep 2025 Ishmael helped us re-seal bathroom tub and shower tile grout, as well as kitchen countertop caulking to the tile backsplash. Ishmael did a great job - very straight lines, consistent grout and caulking, and he completely re-sealed everything in the bathroom and kitchen to prevent moisture from going into the walls.We also had bad water hammering issues in the home because our incoming city water pressure was 105 psi, we wanted to hydro-jet our home's rear drain ahead of the rainy season, and our American Water Heater / Takagi tankless water heater completely stopped working due to it having being installed 10 years ago without service flush ports and having never been de-scaled by the previous homeowners. Jake Hankins the Plumbing Service Manager came and installed a Pressure Reducing Valve (PRV) regulating our incoming water pressure to 70psi, hydro-jetted our rear drain to lateral sewer so that the home is prepared for the upcoming rain, and replaced our tankless water heater with a state of the art Navien 210A tankless system with a 15 year heat exchanger, 5 year parts, and 1 year labor warranty and service ports for annual flushing/de-scaling. The tankless heater was installed in a way that directly hooked up to our existing radiant heating system, gas hookup, and exhaust flue, and the finished work was of higher quality than the system and facilitation it replaced. All the work was done on time and in approved budget, and the quality of the work is very high. It was also less expensive to use Handyman Heroes compared to quotes from the last plumber who came to work on this home. Communication with the Handyman Heroes office personnel Kathy and Jimena were also very responsive and easy to coordinate both over the phone and through text messages.We are happy homeowners now thanks to Handyman Heroes' excellent work. We also signed up for the new Hero Partner Plan which includes an annual home inspection of plumbing, electrical, flushing of water heater, which we know now will prevent any future heater issues. We recommend Handyman Heroes for all their services.

I called Handyman Heroes to install stall bars in my gym (after a failed attempt myself). Booking was super simple. Andres arrived exactly when I was told he would. He was competent, super friendly and got the job done efficiently. My stall bars are firmly in place and I have no worries about asking personal training clients to hang off them. Andres was courteous enough to wear shoe covers without me even asking and he cleaned up before leaving. Five stars! Highly recommend.

Ismael came to my house to change my bedroom door from swinging on the right side inwards to the room to the left side outwards from the room. He did a great job! It was complicated because he had to essentially remove the doorway siding on both sides and swap them to the other side so that the door had a frame to sit in. It looks as good as new and Ismael was a good communicator through all of it.

Loved working with Handymen Heroes! We brought them in to help us identify a leak in an exterior wall near a window and fix up all the dry rot areas. I was able to schedule Vince within the week around the holidays to evaluate the job and provide an estimate. The fee goes towards the job if you decide to work with them. Then Samuel and Guillermo came to do the work over a couple weeks. Everyone we interacted with was great - from the scheduling and invoicing to communicating what they see as the leak issue and our options to fix it. Would definitely use them again!

I had a great experience with Handyman Heroes! After a roof repair, there was an area of water collection on our ceiling dry wall that looked like mold was forming. Vince, project manager, came to evaluate and reassured us that it didn’t look like a large leak/mold issue and that the area in question was contained to a small spot. A few days later, Ismael - dry wall extraordinaire, came by and removed the affected dry wall and confirmed there was no further leaks/water infiltration. He patched the area and was able to save us on paint/material costs since we had everything left from the previous owner. I appreciated his honesty in the matter. He got to work and did an amazing job, it was like the issue was never there. I would definitely recommend Ismael and Handyman Heroes to anyone. We have some upcoming home projects and Handyman Heroes is top of the list.

The only thing I don't love about owning a house is figuring out who to call to help fix things, and then chasing people around trying to get things done. Now, I feel like I can just "call the landlord" (Handyman Heroes) when we need help. I cannot describe how happy this makes me.My husband and I love to take care of our beautiful 1930's home and do a lot of it ourselves. But there's always stuff we don't want to do, aren't skilled at, or don't have time for. Our experience with handymen has always been so-so at best. Even the best-intentioned work odd hours between larger jobs, and they are hard to nail down (no pun intended). And we like things to be finished beautifully and with some pride in workmanship.I have had a running list of projects that we just haven't gotten around to. I decided to give Handyman Heroes a try. Jobs include: replacing our center courtyard roof (corrugated panels), cleaning our dryer vent, and reinforcing/sealing spalling concrete around our foundation piers.Vince, the project manager, came first to assess everything and provide the estimate. Super nice guy, knows his stuff. Samuel and Juan came to work the first day to replace the roof, then Samuel finished the other jobs. Just 3 days total. He is going to come back to do some light painting later this week.What I appreciate: Everyone is so nice to work with. Samuel and Juan were efficient, pleasant, and left everything spotless after they finished. Cecilia and Tania work in the office and are incredibly responsive when scheduling and answering questions. The invoice, when it came, was detailed and the charges transparent.I've never had an experience like this with any company, much less home improvement and repairs.
